INSTAR logo exercise

INSTAR (meaning) is a project for reconstruction of the WDC website. The idea is the rebirth of the ugly and slow caterpillar into a nice butterfly. The web guys asked me for something to place while the site is down and I used this as a self exercise to work logically; to make something not because of my art ideas, but to cover quickly(!) and easily the customer's expectations.

I couldn't resist and finished the day playing with the INSTAR WARS logo idea.

Whangarei is one of the host cities of 2010 Rugby World Cup. This map was created for the official web site of this event. All done in Illustrator CS3

Business Excellence

These and more figures I created for WDC Business Excellence Award application in 2008.

We won a silver medal and I was pretty happy of it because it was a hard job to redo tons of graphs and figures into nice looking, smooth for the eye shapes (all fit in 80mm column:).
